About Jason Carroll & Mud Stamp Films
Founded in 2013 by Jason Carroll, based in Michigan and traveling throughout the southern U.S., Jason’s passion for off-roading began at a young age through trail riding and trips to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes—shaping a no-nonsense approach to capturing extreme off-road action the way real fans want to see it.
After studying video production at Lansing Community College, Jason gained hands-on experience as a production assistant on small movie projects and an extra in feature films, all while working various construction jobs to fund his craft. What started as weekend trips to local mud bogs with friends quickly evolved from filming for fun into a focused pursuit of documenting the sport with authenticity and impact.
By upgrading his equipment and traveling to mud bogs across Michigan, Jason refined his filming and editing skills. As his experience and network grew, he built lasting friendships and expanded his reach, traveling nationwide to film large-scale Trucks Gone Wild mega truck events. He later served as a camera operator for a fishing show, scuba diving to capture underwater footage—while continuing to document some of the hardest-hitting mud bog action the sport has to offer. As his audience grew across Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, Mud Stamp Films became a full-time pursuit.
